The MTC Salute Boxing Academy  will be hosting a boxing bonanza at the Safari Court and Hotel in Windhoek on the 12th of November.

The night will see the MTC Salute Boxing Academy's own product Immanuel Josef defending his WBO Africa flyweight title over 12 rounds against South African boxer Tisetso Madisadife.

According to Josef, he does not know much about his opponent yet and will therefore let his punches do the talking.

Another son of the soil, Fillemon Nghutenanye, will also participate in the bonanza and fight for the bragging rights in the WBA Pan African title against Ally Ngwando from Tanzania over 12 rounds.

The title bout will be preceded by more than 10 undercards and a national title between Abed Shikongo and Simon Shafodino over 10 rounds..

The press briefing was attended by MTC's Manager of Corporate Communication, John Ekongo, who spoke extensively of the need for corporate entities to invest in boxing.

The MTC Salute Boxing Academy's  Executive Chairperson Kriat Kamanya said his stable will continue to work hard and discover more talent.

The Windhoek-based stable also announced that two of its boxers- Lazarus Namalambo and Natty Kakololo- will be in action in non-title bouts outside the country in East London, South Africa and in Moscow, Russia on the 23rd and 29th of October respectively.
