Gaob Justus |Uruhe ǁGaroëb was conferred with an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science.

The Honorary Degree was conferred following the role ǁGaroëb played in politics, education, and advocacy for his people, among the many leadership roles he played in society.

Angula Thomas Ndjembo was also conferred with an Honorary Degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Language Studies (Literature).

Ndjembo played a role in Namibia's literature by publishing three novels, short stories, and 22 plays, most of which were used as content on the nbc Aawambo radio station, Kati FM.
