A 45-year-old Jose Paulus Maseka died at the Katima Mulilo State Hospital after he was stabbed in the arm with a broken bottle at a local bar.

It is reported that the suspect and the deceased were drinking at a local Bar at Katima Mulilo when an argument broke out between the deceased and his girlfriend.

The suspect who is known to the police allegedly advised the deceased not to argue with his girlfriend.

An argument later erupted between the two, which led to the suspect stabbing the deceased.

Police in the Zambezi Region are still investigating the incident.
