The Namibia Breweries Limited launched its "Responsible Drinking" campaign, advocating for responsible drinking and addressing excessive use of alcohol.

With the assistance of various stakeholders such as Nampol and the City Police, NBL has so far reduced the harmful use of alcohol and promoted responsible drinking.

The responsible drinking campaign is part of the NBL's commitment to promote responsible behavior among motorists and support local road safety campaigns since 2006.

Marco Wenk, Managing Director of Namibia Breweries, urged the public to pause and consider the consequences of their actions in order to avoid drunk driving.

NamPol's Inspector General, Lieutenant General Joseph Shikongo commended NBL for its continued efforts in educating society on responsible drinking.

He says the initiative shows that the brewery cares for the people.

To date, NBL has launched the EduDrink, DRINKIQ, and Don't  Drink and Drive campaigns, among others, against alcohol abuse.
