President Hage Geingob has urged diplomats accredited to Namibia to explore new areas of cooperation using the existing frameworks.

The President received letters of credence from five Heads of Mission at State House.

The new diplomats include the USA's Randy Berry, Zhao Weiping from China, Muktar Kedir Abdu from Ethiopia, and Alexis Bukuru from Burundi.

Ambassadors Berry and Zhao are the only resident ambassadors, while the rest are concurrently accredited to Namibia and South Africa.

Hopolang Phororo, who is the new UN Resident Coordinator, also presented her letters of credence.
