Omhedi palace prepares for annual Omagongo Festival

The Omhedi Palace of the Oukwanyama Traditional Authority is bustling with activity as they prepare to welcome over 20,000 guests for this year's annual Omagongo Festival.

The annual festival is celebrated across the eight Aawambo traditional authorities. 

Crime-Combating programme receives N$4 Billion budget

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security received an allocation of N$7.8 billion. 

The biggest share of the budget of over N$4 billion is directed toward the "Combating of Crime" programme.

Part of the N$8 billion includes N$435 million towards the development budget.

Agreement to export mutton and chevon to China signed
