Water flow from the Von Bach dam is stabilising after a recent power supply interruption affecting the main booster station due to heavy rains.

NamWater indicated that, following the technical team's efforts to conduct fault-finding investigations, the power supply has now been fully restored at the Von Bach Base Station.

Pumping operations have commenced following the restoration of power, and water delivery to downstream users, including the City of Windhoek, and customers along the Von Bach-Windhoek pipeline is progressively stabilising.

NamWater stated that their technical teams remain on high alert and will continue to monitor the system closely to ensure sustained operational stability and optimal water supply delivery.
