As the host of the 2025 Namibian Newspaper Cup, Kunene Governor Marius Sheya shared that preparations for the event are progressing smoothly.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah opened the first Cabinet meeting, reminding the ministers of the resolve to curb corruption without delays.

Dr. Nandi-Ndaitwah said service delivery should also not be compromised and urged them to start working.

Two promising young referees from the ||Kharas region have been selected to officiate at the upcoming Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup, as confirmed by the Kharas Football Regional Chairperson, Emrico Blaauw.

Newly appointed Prime Minister Dr. Elijah Ngurare has reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment, rural development, and upgrading informal settlements, key priorities he championed during his time in the Swapo Party Youth League.  

Ohangwena Governor Sebastian Ndeitunga has called for unity of purpose among the regional leadership. 

He said only through a united and collaborative leadership will the region make informed decisions aimed at the upliftment of the living standards of the inhabitants.
