Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration and Safety and Security Lucia Iipumbu has said a fleet management policy is in place and guides the operational readiness of police vehicles.

She noted, however, that the force operates different categories of vehicles, each with a different lifespan.

The President made the remarks at the 11th Central Committee meeting underway in Windhoek.
