The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Namibia's (ELCIN), retired Bishop Kleopas Dumeni, says the late Head of State was a great man and an exemplary humanitarian. 

The judiciary says it won't get involved in informal discussions on presidential succession.

The Office of the Judiciary has issued a statement regarding the ongoing public discourse on the presidential succession following the passing of President Dr. Hage G. Geingob. 

Tributes continue to pour in from across the country as Swapo Party members in the Karibib District gathered in Usakos to celebrate the life of the late President Hage Geingob. They hosted the candlelight ceremony while singing traditional hymns.

The community at Tsjaka in the Kalahari Constituency has acknowledged the government's efforts to bring development to the area's growth point.

Though there are agricultural projects, schools and electricity, proper provision of water, a clinic, and a police station remain critiqued. 

Some who honour the late Dr. Hage Geingob have described the fallen statesmen as a leader who was decisive and would quickly reprimand those who stepped out of line.
