The Ongwediva Town Council has become the first local authority to procure emergency tents as part of its disaster risk management initiative aimed at assisting residents during emergencies.

The Erongo Police seized drugs worth N$2.5 million in just four months. Erongo Police Regional Commander Commissioner Nikolaus Kupembona released the figures in Walvis Bay, covering the period from October 2025 to date.
