A new era has begun for Miss Namibia. The organisation has officially transitioned into a new phase of leadership, welcoming Beaulah Boois-Beukes as its new National Director.

Namibian companies have formed a corporate social investment platform called Mukopano that will connect non-governmental organisations and funders and create a central database for corporate social investments.

The ELCIN Rehabilitation Centre in Oniipa has been presented with a vehicle, donated by Indongo Toyota in partnership with the Office of the President.

Vice President Lucia Witbooi said the vehicle would improve access to healthcare facilities and enhance service delivery at the rehabilitation centre. 

The Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Susan Ndjaleka, has reiterated the need to upgrade Engela District Hospital to an intermediate hospital to improve access to specialised healthcare services in the Ohangwena Region.

The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Lucia Iipumbu, has announced that the government has allocated funds for a software upgrade aimed at restoring the functionality of the Automatic Biometric Information System, which collapsed in 2025 due to ageing infrastructure.
