The Namibian University of Namibia (NUST), in partnership with the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, hosted the Cancer Genomics Conference in Windhoek to create awareness about the growing cancer burden in Africa. 

The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy has introduced various initiatives aimed at supporting micro-, small-, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and enhancing economic participation across Namibia.

He said that while some towns have reported weather affecting electricity, this doesn't seem to be the case in more developed areas.

Deputy Prime Minister Natangue Ithete highlighted the need for the Office of the Prime Minister to compel all ministries to ensure that recommendations from Parliament are implemented.

Ithete pointed out that all reports that are approved by Parliament ought to be sent to various ministries for action.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has cautioned against the use of unilateral coercive measures, saying they should not be used to undermine sovereign states.
