Ghana’s President John Mahama has assured President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah that the ideals of total emancipation of the African continent remain central to Ghana’s vision, as articulated by the country’s founding leader, Kwame Nkrumah.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah and her Sierra Leonean counterpart, Julius Maada Bio, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the historic ties between Namibia and Sierra Leone, rooted in their shared struggle against colonialism.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has thanked the Prime Minister of Barbados, Mia Mottley, for her encouragement and moral support as she assumed Namibia’s leadership role.

The two leaders met briefly at the UN headquarters, where they discussed matters of mutual concern between Namibia and Barbados.
