The newly certified People United for Change (PUC) party has condemned alleged tribal attacks and growing tensions in Otjinene.

The party called for unity and respect among all Namibians. 

A three-day training session on human rights is taking place at Rundu to strengthen the practical implementation of legal protections and improve access to justice, particularly for vulnerable and marginalised groups.

As part of its ongoing stakeholder engagement tour in northern Namibia, the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) management team paid a courtesy visit to the Ongandjera Traditional Authority, where they were received by Omukwaniilwa Johannes Mupiya.

NamWater has announced a planned water supply shutdown that will impact all distribution lines served by the Omafo-Eenhana pipeline on Thursday.

According to NamWater spokesperson Lot Ndamanomhata, the shutdown is expected to last approximately nine hours.
