First ever All Blacks supporters club established in Namibia

Rehoboth- A first official All Blacks Supporters Club in Namibia was launched at the town of Rehoboth in the Hardap Region on Saturday. The launch of the Namibia All Blacks Supporters Club took place at the Rehoboth Showground with droves of local All blacks fans from different towns in attendance. They painted the venue and their cars all blacks as a way of showcasing their loyalty to the world greatest rugby national team, the mighty All Blacks from New Zealand. Also on display were various All Blacks items and spicy food for all at a reasonable prize throughout the day as those who came get the chance to meet and know each other all in the name of the All Blacks family. The objective of the Club is to get Namibians behind the All Blacks as they build towards the defence of the Rugby World Cup title in Japan next year while it will also cater for charity work locally. The event was also attended by members of the South African All Blacks Supporters Club who travelled 2000 kilometres to be present and map the road ahead for their Namibian counterparts. A new Committee was selected to steer the All Blacks Supporters Club with the aim to lobby for a strong All Blacks base in Namibia through a registration process of members. The big was however spoiled by the Springbok's narrow 36-34 victory over the All Blacks in the Rugby Championship - a defeat that brought the mighty All Blacks back to earth from the supreme black moon of rugby greatness.
