NDEITUNGA PRAISES INDONGO

The IBF/IBO and WBA world boxing champion Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo presented his unified titles to the Inspector General of the Namibian Police Lt. General Sebastian Ndeitunga earlier today. The latest achievement of world champion Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo in the ring did not go unnoticed by Ndeitunga and his force. As a consequence, Indongo, who works as Police Officer, was invited to the Police Headquarters to showcase his three belts. He was praised for his victory, which put the country in the limelight world-wide. “The Police Force is happy about your achievement. Namibia is happy and the world is happy as well. My advice to you is that you should remain focused, disciplined and hardworking at all times," said Ndeitunga. He added that the Police leadership always gives time off to its athletes to prepare well for their upcoming events. This service will also be extended to Indongo, so he can successfully defend his title. Indongo, who has started to train for his title defense was happy to be meeting with his bosses and to receive their encouraging words. “I am happy to be rubbing shoulders with my bosses. I am also happy to receive those words of encouragement. I will work harder and not let you down as I will remember your wise words everywhere I am going,"stated Indongo. According to Indongo's trainer and promoter, negotiations are at an early stage with the camp of American boxer Terrence Crawford. Crawford could be a possible opponent for Indongo's title defense, but confirming details are yet to be revealed. When asked whether Indongo will get a promotion for his feat, Ndeitunga off camera told the NBC that the Police leadership always looks at awarding those excelling in sports and that an announcement will be made should such a development be considered.
