The Namibia Premier League announced that its members have unanimously adopted a new constitution at its Extra Ordinary General Assembly held in Windhoek on 23 August 2017. The Extra Ordinary General Assembly also adopted the Manual on Rules and Regulation for the 2017 season. The Meeting decided to hold an Elective Congress on 02nd September 2017 to elect a new Chairperson and Executive Committee for the NPL. Congress will also decide when the league will kick off. Arrangements for nominations of candidates have also already been put in motion, including the appointment of an independent Electoral Officer to oversee and ensure that the election process is free from undue influence.
