Namibia has renewed its commitment to the United Nations Charter.

The United Nations has marked its 80th anniversary, celebrating eight decades of global peace, development, and humanitarian efforts. 

The UN has played a key role in promoting human rights, sustainable development, and international cooperation, and Namibia has been a strong partner in these efforts.  

Members of Parliament in the National Assembly have voiced support for global solidarity, introducing motions affirming solidarity with Cuba, Palestine, and the decolonisation of Western Sahara.

Namibia supports China's 12-point peace plan for Russia and Ukraine as part of the Global Security Initiative concept paper.
