Men of various ages marched through Rundu as part of the 16 Days of Activism, which aims to create awareness of gender-based violence. 

The "Commitment Walk" aims to encourage men to adopt respectful, non-violent, and reasonable behaviour in relationships. 

The Namibia Planned Parenthood Association (NAPPA) and the Swapo Party Women's Council (SPWC) have agreed to cooperate on issues of sexual reproductive health.

NAPPA and the SPWC further agreed that assistance is needed within local communities, particularly among youth.
