Members of the Namibian Parliament spent the week participating in the World Parliamentary Forum against Fascism and Neo-Fascism.

The Forum took place in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela.

The proposed raise to the N$100,000 threshold for income tax exemption has divided MPs in the National Council.

This change would mean individuals earning below this amount would not have to pay income tax.

The Governor of the Kavango West Region, Sirkka Ausiku, has called on the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Forestry to improve its procurement process to allow green schemes to run effectively.

Hausiku made the remarks when she visited the Sikondo Green Scheme.
