NANSO launches Access to Higher and Vocational Education Campaign

Namibia National Students Organisation (NANSO) has officially launched the "Access to Higher and Vocational Education Campaign," aiming to revolutionise student funding through political discourse. 

The campaign underscores a commitment to affordable, accessible, equitable, and quality higher education. Help desks will be established in all higher learning institutions nationwide to assist students and trainees with their concerns and inquiries.

Gobabis Vocational Training Centre receives solar PV plant

The German government has installed a solar PV plant at the Gobabis Vocational Training Centre to sustain the centre's electricity supply as part of the social-economic progression.

The solar plant project cost N$4.1 million.

The Director of Technical Vocational Education and Training in the Ministry of Higher Education, Innovation, and Technology, Muvatere Siririka, urged the centre to take care of the facility.

Amupanda demanded to cease from defamatory allegations against Kandjii-Murangi

Lawyer Clive Kavendji of Kangueehi & Kavendjii Inc. has written to activist Dr. Job Amupanda, demanding that Amupanda cease and desist from posting "false and defamatory" allegations against the Minister of Higher Education, Training, and Innovation, Dr. Itah Kandjii-Murangi.

Dr. Amupanda posted on his social media platforms that the minister has used her office to corruptly use public funds through means of travel allowances in the amount of about N$1,5 million.
