Project at Ovinjuru Village boosted with needlecraft equipment

Zimbabwe's Embassy in Namibia has donated new needlecraft equipment to the Ngaukujame Community Project run by women at Omaheke's Ovinjuru Village.

The Namibia Diamond Trading Company (NDTC) boosted four clinics in the Aminuis Constituency with essential items for expectant mothers and babies. 

NDTC spent more than N$60,000 on items that will be distributed amongst these clinics to aid new mothers.

Police farm renamed after retired Lt. Gen. Andima

The police's agricultural farm situated in the Omaheke Region, formerly known as Uichenas, has been renamed after retired Lieutenant General Raonga Jesaja Andima.

Andima was the second Inspector General of the Police.

Relief for Koppie Alleen village as borehole rehabilitated

The farming communities at Koppie Alleen village in the Otjombinde Constituency heaved a sigh of relief as the Directorate of Water Supply rehabilitated its ageing borehole. 

The community spent three weeks without water for its own use and their livestock.
