NUST Eenhana Satellite Campus holds first graduation

The Namibia University of Science and Technology's Eenhana Satellite Campus held its first-ever graduation ceremony on Friday.

Seventy-three students graduated from various fields of study.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chancellor of the Namibia University of Science and Technology, Peter Katjavivi, says the presence of the higher institution in the Ohangwena Region is a dream come true for many.

The government believes that investments and trade activities, especially in the manufacturing, farming and agro-processing business sectors are fundamental to economic growth.

This was said by the Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, Lucia Iipumbu when she officially opened the 13th Eenhana Expo in Ohangwena region.

The expo is being held under the theme: "Reviving Local Economy Rhrough Business Resilience, Innovation and Diversification "
