Developing a new synthetic fuels industry in Namibia is not just an opportunity to fight climate change but indeed offers an unparalleled opportunity for green industrialization. This was President Hage Geingob's emphasis when he addressed the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in Geneva.

The 78th session of the UN General Assembly started this week to, among other things, look at the challenges facing the world and also to recommit to the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN.

President Hage Geingob says the challenges facing the world today are not insurmountable, as they can be addressed with renewed commitment to multilateralism.
