Namibia could become a prime travel destination in Africa with the right international partnerships in the hospitality industry. 

This is one view of the participants at the African Hospitality Investment Forum underway in Windhoek.

The African Hospitality Investment Forum is hoping to boost investments in tourism projects, infrastructure development, and hotel development across the African continent.

More than 400 business leaders from local and international markets will thus be engaging in critical networking over the next three days.

The Namibian Film Commission (NFC), in partnership with Moon Valley Films, will embark on a location familiarisation tour aimed at promoting Namibia as the perfect film destination for international films.

World-renown location managers, who play a pivotal role in the selection of filming destinations, are in Namibia on a ten-day tour to familiarise themselves with the different landscapes Namibia has to offer.

The aim was also to promote Namibia as a filming destination by providing a real-life experience.
