Swanu of Namibia's Party President Dr. Tangeni Iijambo tabled a motion to discuss the enforcement of the drought relief programme by training specialists whose activities are related to the environment.

Dr. Iijambo stressed that laws and policies need to be put in place to mitigate drought effects on people's livelihoods.
