NamRA donates braille booklets to Namibian Federation of the Visually Impaired

To make sure that no one is left behind in terms of accessing information, the Namibia Revenue Agency (NamRA) donated 120 braille booklets to the Namibian Federation of the Visually Impaired (NFVI).

The donation consists of a customs procedure with traveller's guide information and the taxation of individuals.

The Commissioner at NamRA, Sam Shivute, says the donation aims to build an inclusive society and allow visually impaired people easy access to information.

Visually impaired women graduate as massage therapists

Four visually impaired women have graduated from Debmarine's Standing with Women and Girls training programme.
 
Debmarine sponsored the training of visually impaired women through the Nomad African Spa to become massage therapists.

The programme upskills the participants to become massage therapists in sports and physiotherapy, among other areas.

The women are empowered with essential skills and opportunities to excel in their professional lives.
