A comic book that promotes inclusivity and representation of people with disabilities was launched in Windhoek today.

The book under the project Hear Me gives deaf individuals a character they can relate to.

The City of Windhoek inaugurated its 25th Junior Council on Friday, where Ginel Goagoseb was elected Mayor, deputised by Anchor Hoebeb.

The junior council is the consignment of a leadership programme for young people to become great leaders in the future.

Prior to the start of its highly anticipated annual cultural festival, the PSTBET Windhoek Annual Cultural Festival, a prominent advocate for community vibrancy and cultural celebration, has reached out to support the women offenders at the Windhoek Correctional Service.

Resettlement involves more than just land distribution; it also involves securing tenure rights, planning land use, and addressing infrastructure and farm rehabilitation.

It is the responsibility of everyone to identify the shortcomings at schools and take the necessary steps to ensure inclusivity.
