Prior to the start of its highly anticipated annual cultural festival, the PSTBET Windhoek Annual Cultural Festival, a prominent advocate for community vibrancy and cultural celebration, has reached out to support the women offenders at the Windhoek Correctional Service.

This year's festival theme, centered around women empowerment, highlights the festival's dedication to nurturing positive change and inclusivity within society.

Since its inception in 2019, the festival has been continuously evolving and growing.

Namibia revamps resettlement policy to address land redistribution challenges

Resettlement involves more than just land distribution; it also involves securing tenure rights, planning land use, and addressing infrastructure and farm rehabilitation.

The Minister of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform, Carl Schlettwein, expressed these sentiments in his ministerial statement on the Revised National Resettlement Policy of 2023–2033.

The Revised Resettlement Policy reflects the government's dedicated approach to tackling challenges regarding land redistribution in a coordinated, inclusive, and transparent manner.

Shortcomings to inclusive schooling should be identified - Manombe-Ncube

It is the responsibility of everyone to identify the shortcomings at schools and take the necessary steps to ensure inclusivity.

This was said by Deputy Minister of Disability Affairs, Alexia Manombe-Ncube, who stressed the importance of ending exclusivity in education on the basis of learners' socio-economic sources, ethnicity, gender, race, culture, and disability.
