Integrating arts such as choir singing into schools aligns with Namibia's Sixth National Development Plan.

The Ohangwena Education Director, Isak Hamatwi, said this at the Annual Regional Choir Competition held at Mwadikange Kaulinge Secondary School in the Ondobe Circuit.

Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare reiterated the government's commitment to providing and rolling out all necessary amenities to rural communities and ensuring equitable access to essential services across the country.

A young academic from Ohangwena's Elundu Village brought great joy and hope to his village and those from the surrounding by organizing an annual trade expo. 

The expo which was initiated last year has become a beacon of development, fostering unity and economic growth in the village.

The Ohangwena Regional Council has officially commenced its operations for 2024, promising to work harder and deliver services efficiently and effectively.
