Flags can now fly at full mast as the official mourning period for the late President Dr. Hage Geingob has ended.

The public holidays declared on the 25th and 26th of February were only for the mourning period and, as such, will not be observed going forward.

Speaking at a Cabinet briefing, the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, spoke on stipulations regarding the hanging of the official portrait of President Nangolo Mbumba, while the public may continue to hang the portrait of the late President Geingob.
