The Council of the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) appointed 2 Deputy Vice-Chancellors (VC) who will take up their positions on the 1 February 2026. 

NUDO's MP, Vetaruhe Kandorozu, questioned Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare, why 70% of heads of mission appointed to represent Namibia in foreign countries are from one tribe.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah appointed 10 new Heads of Mission today, which saw the return of those who served in previous years. 

Advocate Natasha Bassingthwaighte was sworn in as an Acting Judge of the High Court of Namibia on Tuesday, 16 September 2025.
