President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has announced additional appointments to the Presidential Task Forces, building on members named in recent announcements, as part of efforts to enhance their effectiveness.

The President said the new appointments are intended to strengthen the Task Forces’ capacity to drive focused interventions, improve coordination, and accelerate implementation across key national priorities, in line with the country’s development agenda.

Under the Economic Recovery Task Force, the President appointed Emilia Uupindi Mutenda and Tudiminapo Shindume.

The additions are expected to reinforce the Task Force’s strategic and technical capacity to support economic recovery initiatives.

For the Health Task Force, Dr. Mirjam Matheus and Norman Nanuseb have been appointed.

Their inclusion aims to bolster policy oversight and improve service delivery within the health sector.

Meanwhile, the Land and Housing Task Force has been strengthened with the appointment of Natasha Mbai and Pomwene Esther Shakela.

The President said the appointment is intended to sharpen delivery on land and housing development and enhance inter-institutional coordination.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah expressed confidence in the additional members and wished them well in the execution of their new responsibilities.
