Ohangwena Governor Kadiva Hamutumwa has handed over a new house to an elderly woman with a disability at Oshandi Village.

The |Khomas Region's Moses ||Garoëb Constituency has donated 100 blankets to the elderly and vulnerable people.

The donation is part of the winter safety-net project, which aims to showcase the development initiatives to improve the living conditions of the elderly and the needy.

Hardap Governor Riaan McNab has called on community leaders and citizens to ensure that elderly and vulnerable members of society are not left behind, urging for continued support beyond ceremonial events.

McNab, together with other sponsors, handed over 200 food parcels to senior citizens at Rehoboth.
