Namibian police have reported seven suicides across the country during the New Year period.

The incidents occurred between December 31 and January 4.

Challenges were encountered at Mokuti Lodge in Etosha National Park, where officials were denied the opportunity to set up a mobile station.

This was confirmed by Oshikoto Electoral Officer Ester Hipangelwa during an interview at the Tsintsabis fixed polling station.
