The Ministry of Health and Social Services inaugurated the Farm 508 Primary Health Care Outreach Point in the Samora Machel Constituency, marking a major milestone in improving access to essential healthcare in the Goreangab area.

The Namibian government has allocated more than N$500 million towards the formalisation of informal settlements.

The formalisation process, which will start in Windhoek as soon as possible, is expected to be rolled out to other local authorities around the country.

The Samora Machel Constituency councillor says there is a need for ongoing engagements with the relocated residents of Farm 508.

Nestor Kalola says the area's new residents can contribute to the setting up of some of the utilities identified.
