Angola President and Chairperson of the African Union, Joao Lourenco, received Abdou Abarry, Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Central Africa, in Luanda on Friday.

The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation and addressing peace and security issues across the region.

After three weeks of mourning, which included regional memorials with the remains of Dr. Sam Nujoma, Namibians, joined by international dignitaries including Heads of State, laid the Founding President and Father of the Namibian Nation, Dr. Sam Nujoma, to rest at the Heroes' Acre.
