Most dams across Namibia show little change in capacity despite recent rainfall.

Swakoppoort Dam stands at 83% capacity, and Von Bach at 81.2%. Goreangab remains nearly full at 100.5%, down slightly from 100.8% last week.

Otjivero Main Dam holds 36%, Tilda Viljoen 64.1%, and Dan Viljoen 66.6%.

Dam water levels have increased across key dams following recent rainfall in catchment areas.

Updated figures by Namwater indicate a positive response to recent precipitation with Swakoppoort Dam, which saw its water levels rise by 0.796 million cubic metres.

The Office of the Prime Minister has issued a National Flood Advisory following reports from Namibia Meteorological Services warning of above-normal rainfall across the country.

Following good recent rains received in the country, NamWater has announced positive inflows to the country's dam levels.

The Von Bach Dam is now standing at 31.3%, while the Swakoppoort Dam is at 35.6%.

Omatako Dam is now at 28.1%, down from 28.5%, despite receiving 37 mm of rainfall.

The level of the Zambezi River continues to rise significantly following heavy rainfall over the past few days.
