Lima Farm in the Kongola Constituency of the Zambezi Region, in collaboration with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), has embarked on chilli production aimed at promoting sustainable integrated agriculture and mitigating human-wildlife conflict. 

Member states within the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA) have set their eyes on increasing the value of their natural infrastructure for conservation and sustainability purposes. 

The recent influx of water in key catchment areas and floodplains has brought large quantities of fish, making it an ideal opportunity for Northerners to capitalise.

Many of the unemployed have been spending their time by the floodplains, catching fish.
