The Chairperson of the San Community Garden Project at Maranata Plot in the Epukiro Constituency, Paul Chapman, is pleading for water provision to help the garden achieve its desired result.
Chapman said the borehole will help the community improve their yields and, eventually, their livelihoods.
The Omaheke Regional Council, in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister, has started clearing a 13-hectare piece of land earmarked for a community garden.
The land is on the outskirts of Talismanus in the Otjombinde Constituency.
