The wastewater infrastructure in Koës Village is facing severe strain, with the oxidation ponds on the brink of overflowing and contaminating underground water. 

This was revealed by the Koes Village Council Acting CEO Johannes Brand during the council's engagement with the Governor of ||Kharas Region. 

Kaoko Fria Investment has broken its silence following a statement by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) about the proposed Kaoko Fria Smart City at Cape Angra Fria in the Skeleton Coast area.

Namibia clarified that it has not granted approval for Phase II of the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, citing concerns about potential impacts on downstream flows in the Orange River.

This was in response to a report that the country was unhappy with the project.
