Ethiopian agricultural delegation commends Namibia on high sanitary standards

Ethiopia has commended Namibia for being one of the most experienced African countries in sanitary practices, especially with respect to the requirements of international trade.

This was said by a high-level delegation on agriculture from Ethiopia, who are in Windhoek on a benchmarking visit to Namibia.

Namibia was among the 21 countries that participated in the 63rd UNITAS exercise, which ended recently.

The Namibian ship, Elephant, was assigned to represent the country's navy during the naval parade and also participated in Operation UNITAS, marking Brazil's bi-centennial independence anniversary.

No excuse for sexual violence- SGBV workshop participants

Participants at a workshop on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) at Keetmanshoop said there is no excuse for sexual violence.

The workshop was conducted by the Karas Arts Dance Academy (KADA) youth group and supported by the Ministry of Gender Equality, Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare.
