Mashi  Nfumu Joseph Tembwe Mayuni in the Zambezi Region says his community feels a dark cloud has befallen on them and is yet to come to terms with the death of the late president Geingob.

Nfumu Mayuni made the remarks at the Mashi Traditional Authority's memorial service for the late head of state.

Victims of hand grenade explosion buried in Zambezi

Three of the four victims, who died from an explosion of a hand grenade almost two weeks ago at Liselo in the Zambezi Region, were laid to rest today.

The deceased are 14-year-old Yamuno Mulatehi, nine-year-old Lydia Mulatehi, and four-year-old Mulatehi Mulatehi, all siblings.

A man killed by lightning

A man was struck and killed by lightning in the Kalumba area of the Zambezi Region on Monday.

The victim, identified as Gift Mwangala, a Zambian national, was employed as a cattle herder in the area.
