The National Assembly could not continue with its session on Thursday, due to a lack of a quorum.

Upon entry into the chamber, Deputy Speaker of the House, Loide Kasingo did not take the usual affirmation, but instead inquired about the next move from the Front Desk Officials.

PDM member in the National Assembly Elma Dienda demanded that a roll call be taken to establish whether there is a quorum or not before any action is taken. However, her request was not entertained by the Deputy Speaker.
