Principals from various village schools in the Kavango West Region say the donation of a classroom block by NAMDIA has significantly improved the atmosphere at their schools. 

Twenty-six teachers in the |Khomas Region are showcasing their hands-on creativity in a Primary Material Development Competition aimed at promoting education and empowering early childhood development.

The Namib Desert Diamonds (NAMDIA) Foundation has spent N$5.9 million upgrading education and water infrastructure at various rural primary schools in the Kavango West Region. 

The situation of sewage overflow at Rebeca Kambundu Primary School in Rundu is being addressed.

The school has been experiencing the overflowing for almost 3 years, posing health risks to the learners and staff. 

Rebeca Kambundu Primary School caters for 1,232 learners and 31 staff members. 

Water shortages in the Omundaungilo Consitituency is said to have affected schools, clinics and other government institutions.

This came to light during a visit by the Governor, Kadiva Hamutumwa to the consitiuency as part of her familiarization tour

The government has committed to allocating N$5 million annually to a project tackling menstrual poverty among schoolgirls and intensifying free access to skincare products for children with albinism.
