Stakeholders have been urged to join the Khomas Anti-Corruption Regional Forum.

The call was made by Khomas Governor, Laura Mcleod-Katjirua, during the launch of the Forum.

The Khomas forum is part of other regional forums that will contribute to the National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan.

At this forum, stakeholders will share information, engage and make recommendations.

44 institutions are leading the implementation of the five-year National Anti-Corruption Strategy and Action Plan.
The strategy has eight objectives.

ECB proposes mechanism to mitigate frequent power outages at Rundu

The Electricity Control Board (ECB) wants to activate a power outage reporting mechanism for all stakeholders at Rundu in the Kavango East Region.

The reporting mechanism will ensure that the ECB does not rely on power generators and distributors for scheduled and unplanned outages.

ECB Spokesperson Ferdinand Molale says once the mechanism is activated, residents and businesses can help the regulator monitor the activities of the licensees.
