Hundreds of mourners gathered at Gammams Cemetery in the capital for the burial of liberation stalwart Polykarpus Nghoshi Kaukungua.
Kaukungua, who was conferred a state funeral, died on the 20th of August, aged 91.
Former Otjinene regional councillor Adolphus Kangootui was buried over the weekend at Ozombuzovindimba, a cultural heritage site in the Otjinene Constituency of Omaheke Region.
The 68-year-old Kangootui was accorded an official funeral by President Hage Geingob.

Mourners paid their last respects to retired Colonel John Nghipangelwa Shipoke at Ondobe in the Ohangwena Region.
Shipoke died at the age of 66 on the 19th of March.
Shipoke is a freedom fighter and veteran of the liberation struggle who went into exile in 1974.
The late veteran broadcaster Johanna Muatara was buried at the Pioneerspark.
Muatara's journalism career spanned from the time of SWABC, where she worked, soon after completing secondary school.
