Agriculture is becoming popular among young people as a means to make a living.

30-year-old Petrus Muyeve from Karibib is one such person who turned his erf into a garden, and it's now paying off.

Muyeve migrated to Karibib from Rundu in search of a better life for himself and his three children.

President Mbumba engages traditional leaders at Oshakati

President Nangolo Mbumba engaged traditional leaders of the eight northern traditional authorities at Oshakati this morning.

The aim was to familiarise himself with traditional leaders, inform them officially that he had taken office as Head of State, and seek their blessings.

The United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) remains a dedicated partner for Namibia to ensure food security for all.

This commitment was reaffirmed at the handover of gardening tools and irrigation systems to 308 beneficiaries in the Ohangwena Region, valued at N$2.2 million.
