Works and Transport Minister John Mutorwa inaugurates Helao Nafidi NaTIS office

Works and Transport Minister John Mutorwa has inaugurated the NaTIS office at the Helao Nafidi Town Council premises in the Ohangwena Region.

The office is part of the Roads Authority's quest to bring services closer to the people for effective and efficient service delivery across the country.

The opening of the offices is a collaboration between the Roads Authority and the Helao Nafidi Town Council, which is providing the facility.

The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning has approved Helao Nafidi Town Council's membership to join the UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities.

The aim is to support and accelerate the practice of lifelong learning in the town.

Through these activities, the Global Network of Learning Cities (GNLC) promotes policy dialogue, peer learning, and collaboration among member cities.

It also contributes to capacity building and to forging new tools for developing, implementing, and monitoring learning city strategies.
