Investigations continue in missing stillborn's body

The Namibian Police are investigating the matter in which the body of a stillborn baby disappeared from the Windhoek State Mortuary.

Police national spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi confirmed that the matter was brought to the attention of the police on June 1st, six months after the disappearance of the body.

Shikwambi informed nbc News that most of the statements have been taken by the police.

Shikwambi further confirmed that this is the first case of a missing body from the state mortuary registered with the police.

Tekla Tumuna is still missing - Police

Five-year-old Otjozondjupa resident Tekla Tumuna, who went missing at the start of January, has still not been found almost four months after her mysterious disappearance.

This was confirmed by the police public relations department.

According to the police, Tekla Tumunu went missing on Tuesday, January 10th, from their home at farm Omukandi Na:59 in the Kalkveld district.

Tumuna was left with her 20-year-old sibling.

Tumunu is slender, dark in complexion, and speaks Otjiherero.

Mother desperately looks for her missing son in Karibib

A six-year-old boy from the Ebenhaiser Primary School at Karibib has been missing since last Tuesday.

It is alleged that Myne Oswyn left his mother's house last Monday in the Harambe location to visit his grandfather in the same location.

On Tuesday afternoon, the grandfather allegedly escorted the boy halfway to his mother's house, but he never arrived, and both the mother and the grandfather were not aware.
